And then you pour your second bowl of cereal and the Fruit Loops get a little soggy from the leftover milk?
And then you reach into the fridge and realize there is not another gallon of milk in there?
That's when you know you should just get back in bed and stay there.

Gosh I miss Fruit Loops. They don't make them in SA anymore.
I cannot eat breakfast...at least when I first get up. I can only handle a cup of coffee (and maybe a doughnut). I have to be up and moving for a couple of hours before I can eat anything...but cereal is not on the list. Eggs, bacon, pancakes, french toast or something like that. I was forced to eat cereal when growing up so I'm still rebelling.
Same thing with cream for the coffee. First cup perfect, pour that second cup... a few drips of cream and a dollop of irritation.
Mornings. Blech.
love fruitloops! the fact that i don't have any in the pantry is my morning omen to stay in bed.
I don't eat cereal, but my husband is to cereal as Jerry Seinfeld is to cereal!
That's why I never put milk on my Froot Loops.
I ran out tea the other morning. I definitely should have gotten back in bed.
I hope the rest of your day improved.
I'm becoming reaquainted with cereal this month. But not, probably Fruit Loops.
Count Chocula, maybe?
Frankly, I'm afraid to even get out of BED these days.
I hope this will brighten your day. I gave you one of my weekly Goddess Awards for this ultimately relate-able piece!
In-joy,
Elise
....so true...love this Yogurt! :-)
LOL...I've had days like this too...
I've just mixed fresh cereal with yogurt... works just fine with granola... ;o)

I think blogger ate my comment during its outage - if I remember correctly, I said that this is exactly why I eat my froot loops dry.
Sometimes getting back in bed will do the trick!
Why is it that we always go back for that second bowl? Is it the corn syrup as they say?
I'm here to report that we have a teenage driver in the house and it is wonderful.
