I'm not much of a pump wearer, but I will gladly rock my red flats.
Thanks to My Piece Of Mind, I am now aware that today is National Women and Girls HIV/AIDS Awareness Day. Every 10 minutes an American is infected with HIV. The threat is still alive.
So we all need to spread the word and Rock the Red Pump. Please check out the website, sign up, promote this day of protection on your blog, Twitter and/or Facebook and encourage those you love to be safe.

I don't own any red pumps, but I'm wearing my favorite pair of red Keen mary janes. Think those count?
Rock on!
I'm wearing my favorite black Danskos. That's almost red, right?
"Every 10 minutes an American is infected with HIV."
Good god. The epidemic rages on.
My daughter stole my red pumps, so the best I can do is bare feet with red toenails.
You don't hear about HIV as much any more, but it's still going strong, and taking far too many lives. Time to get it back out in the open.
I'm going to count my copper red Danskos as pumps today
You can imagine what kind of red shoes I'm wearing today... ;o)
~shoes~
I have a closet full of red shoes and I may just wear a pair to work - even though it is against the dress code...
Why don't I have any red shoes?! I have lime green. Must rectify.
Amen. I don't have red pumps these days but I've got red sox and a red heart. And we need to keep the threat to the forefront.
Now I totally have a reason to buy new shoes!
HIV? You'd be forgiven these days for thinking it's nothing worse than a bout of measles but as the focus has waned, transmission rates are beginning to climb again.
I like the idea of this days. It's a good reminder that HIV doesn't discriminate.
I bought myself some Irregular Choice high heals the other day. Love them but need to learn how to walk!
