oh my goodness, that is absolutely crazy... a couple questions: 1. why in the world did it take the people around him so long to get the hell out of there?! they kinda just sat there, watching him freak out! 2. i can't believe people stood around taping it! 3. was he tazered at the end?! 4. WTF?! lol
feministgal - I kept saying as I watched, GET OUT OF THERE, PEOPLE! But I suppose they kept thinking he was done? That "Ok, now THIS will be the last monitor he will throw" ??
I don't know what happened at the end, either. Tazer? Could be. It appears to be a security guard waving the videocam operator off.
I just looked at my article in The Skinny Mag, and I saw you'd posted a wee comment. Aw, aren't you just a wee sweetheart?!
As regards that video, it seems fake to me, as the people just seem to be standing around, and don't look shocked in the slightest. Also, the guy reacts in a weird way. He's neither psycho enough to be realistic (he takes his time in between each outburst, which doesn't seem realistic to me - wouldn't you act more quickly if you were so pissed off?) nor does he act embarrassed about his behaviour. If I reacted like that in public (very likely, actually!), I would very quickly come to my senses and be so ashamed that I'd get the hell out of there.
But, anyway, that is why I don't work in an office. I'll take handjobs over cubicle work any day!
queers - please try again, it working okay for me.
slutty - yeah, the slowness does look fake, doesn't it? Given the "flight or fight or freeze" response of extreme fear, I guess that's what is happening. They're all sluggish with fear and uncertainty.

I think I would have gotten out of that room much faster-perhaps when the first computer monitor was thrown.
The cubicle. Not too healthy for humans. Kind of like THE ZOO.
Cubicle rage.
At least he was only throwing monitors and didn't have a handgun.
the video doesnt appear to be working :(

mrs g - another reason high heels are impractical. you never know when you have to run away from cubicle ragers.
jck - at least a zoo has open bars to look through. cubicles are inhumane. i'm surprised more cube-dwellers don't chuck their monitors.
rb - I don't even want to think about what could have happened, if he had a gun.
