It was one of those musical "driveway moments" for me, a term I first heard on an NPR broadcast. I talked a little bit about driveway moments in a previous post, but didn't give the term its proper credit."You're driving along, listening to a story on NPR. And this video is Chambers performing with her husband Shane Nicholson. They've just released an album together (found out just now as I surfed for this post .. yay .. blog perk of the day) where she's returning to her alternative country roots, the genre I'm drawn to again and again.

Always great to learn of new music. One the best things about blogging worldwide is getting in on such things.
A friend just sent me via the blog a you tube link to a song which appears on an album called No Man's Woman. That whole album (except for perhaps a Tex Perkins song!) is a driveway moment.
I have them all the time.
One was an episode of This American Life that drove my daughter and I inside to the computer to view the related slideshow.
