tig, no taxes

So I'm sitting here during my designated, schedule-all-clear, expressly-for-the-purpose-of-doing-my-taxes, time slot. That means, making no money when we could really use some extra income and I've turned down clients so that I can get my taxes done.

When, after an impromptu lunch time rendez-vous with my special Valentine (who would be my husband, of course) (because a sluggish economy has it's perks), I turned on the comedy channel. All the better to eat my post-coital meal lunch: extra sharp cheese melted on toast with alfalfa sprouts and the last of the winter garden tomatoes.

It was then that I saw this comedian, Tig Notare (no tar, eh?), for the first time.

I just had to share. Because I'm the biggest procrastinator on the face of this earth helpful like that.

If, like me, you just have to see more of Tig, you can check out her No Moleste spot, here. And, if once is never enough, here. And then there's her very own webpage, tignation.

Ok, back to my late afternoon snack taxes.

Thanks. Replying to your comment probably isn't helping much, but I appreciate the good wishes.

i've had my refund for over a week now... this is serious business when money to buy toys is involved.

Tig is funny, another good one... Katt williams. OMFG! i slapped my leg so hard laughing at this guy i couldn't stand up for 3 days. Not really... but the guy's damn funny.

Wow - a nooner! Good for you. I hope you found a yummy dessert after your sandwich.

Oh, and taxes. I hope you get your taxes done too! That doesn't sound nearly as fun as your afternoon.

OH God, my receipts are sitting here staring at me. As for the comic, I did stand up for many years and I like her. She is smart, clean and a woman. What is not to like

orion -- you're on top of things, toy rewards or no.

blognut -- when you find that discipline you were asking about, will you share?

I love procrastination. Especially when it involves something funny.

Filters. So underrated.

Never knew she did standup but I've seen her on the Sarah Silverman Program.

Thanks a lot for bringing me into your procrastinating loop...:D

Though I don't go near the taxes, I should be cleaning our house for guests this weekend. Luckily I didn't get to this post when I was supposed to be grading papers. Teen anger is worse than friend disapproval.

ugh, taxes. I guess we better get on it. (or get it on, instead?:)Well I can't do either until DH gets home anyway. Tig is funny. I've seen her somewhere before. I hope I've never been one of those people she's talking about with NO FILTER. Alright, I'm over it

So glad you got a little romance in during Valentine's Day. And laughter. And good eats.
