jensational haiku wednesday

Join the fun!

Needing more, not less
Putting myself first, not last
Ergo my ego

And if you didn't figure it out by now, I built the entire Haiku around my wish to use "ergo my ego" as a line. Pathetic excuse for a Haiku but there ya have it.

I've only written one haiku to the best of my knowledge, when I was at the sort of age to illustrate it with coloured pencils, and for my mum to stick it on the kitchen wall. But it's kind of catchy, so I can still remember it word for word!

And what a great ego to have. :) Love it. Thanks for stopping by my playground. Much appreciated :)

Btw, a related language accident committed by a German 12th-grader in his final ESL-Exam: "...or as Freud would have said: my It was stronger than my Over-I" ;-)
Granted, Germans use German terms for the categories of the Freud's psychic structural model, but I couldn't help laughing out loud when I first heard it. Hope the chuckle is universal... ;-)

You should burn this onto a wooden plaque and put it on your office door. Of course, then you'd have a wooden plaque on your office door.
