ssssshhhhhh .. don't tell

Disappearing for a little while.

Slumber party.

Twelve girls.

Twelve years old.

Twelve hours
in the attic
ought to cover it.

If not?

There's always vodka.

You might want to secure another bottle. Just sayin'! I remember being 12 and having a slumber party. We were devils!

Are you slipping some of the vodka in the girls' drinks?

Kidding. . . I'd never do that. (maybe)

It should be a piece of cake. Vodka-soaked cake that is!

Mommy wants vodka?

Call Aunt Becky.

This is only the beginning. That's how I GOT STARTED!!!

But you can only drink a couple. You have to be relatively sober if the police show up.

That sounds like fun for the first hour or so then maybe a nightmare for the last bit.

Hahaha! I hope everyone survived.

Vodka is my go-to. Good luck;)

Oh my...I had boys and I think girls would be worse. Although boys do things like hiding in the dryer, urinating in the kitty litter (really), trying to bungee jump off the rafters in the garage. You can't drink like someone said. The police could show up and there you are...mother of the year.

I say take the vodka into the attic. Why take chances?

Great new masthead.

TWELVE girls? Do you also have earplugs and a sleeping mask?

12 girls x hurt feelings x cell phones = lots of vodka.

I'm familiar with some math equations.

So? Did you survive? Did you need the vodka?

Inquiring minds....

How did it go? I'm taking a break from FB, so I'll need to get my PhD time here. Sigh....

Too funny. I have boys, who don't seem to be into sleepovers like girls. Of course my son is a musician so having friends over even for a short time involves guitars, amp, drums and lots of noise.

On those days I love to cook with wine, that way I have a solid excuse for keeping the bottle out.

OH. my. gawd.

You have soo much of my sympathy.

Oh, holy jeebus.

Can't you have both?? Vodka in the attic sounds good to me.

Hope you all survived, Personally I always found the day after the worst - tired 12 year olds are not fun to be around, especailly if you hit the vodka hard...

You are a very brave woman. How'd it turn out?

Thanks to everyone for your comments of concern.

Yes, I survived. And yes, vodka was involved. As was standing on my back deck at 4:23AM shushing ten hypomanic girls. We lost two of them. Parent pick up.
